Friday, October 22, 2021, 4:00-6:00 pm - EST Location: KJCC Patio at 53 Washington Square South, New York, NY 10012
Come join us for a conversation with Professor Urayoan Noel (English and Spanish & Portuguese), who will read and perform from his new book of poetry Transversal (2021) and other works. Together we’ll discuss issues around translation and performance, as well as NYU’s Latinx Project. For more on Uryaoan’s poetry, scholarship and performances: https://urayoannoel.com/links/
The KJCC Fridays on the Patio Program works to connect NYU students and faculty and invite them into the Center for cultural discussions and community building during select Fridays from 4-6pm. We aim to provide a diverse array of programming, so that all community members feel welcome and celebrated. More than anything, this will be an event series focusing on elevating quality of life and creating enjoyable experiences.
As per COVID-19 recommendations, we can only accommodate 30 guests on the patio.
Guests are encouraged to RSVP via our Google Form available at kjcc.org or posted weekly with the KJCC newsletter (sign up at: kjcc.org). LINK TO GOOGLE FORM: https://bit.ly/3lW3Mun
